Hello love how are you? and we are finishing the short week and I am (Friday) I have free but very busy day, I have plenty to do outside the home and various jobs to see if I organize well. On the draw yesterday I got in touch with Rebecca and turns out to Palma de Mallorca like me, so that I can bring home goodies:)
As I reported yesterday, today I bring you post a summary enough on workshop I did last week. The photos look pretty bad but that I took a video that has made the teachers and the catches are not too good, they look pixelated. Anyway, should they publish the photos and display them to you in another post.
The title of the workshop: "Oratory and rhetoric, public speaking" . I have been teaching Agustín Rosa and José López and assistant had to call the nicest girl Africa.
is a seminar main objective is to develop skills in speaking for success in business and personal level. These classes are conducted where practical exercises, dynamic activities, among others. Courses have been held by many English universities and employers.

Well after this introduction I will tell you a bit:
The classes are very dynamic therefore does not the student time to relax too much and can get bored. Did group activities rather fun we could go out as volunteers not know what we would do videos taught us a lot of fun (I put a another day), I learned quite funny examples the things that we should not do in the presentations, they taught us tricks , we made some tests , if we were bored we put a music and we had to change us all site, we ask for a kitkat ( paused but someone should propose an activity less than 2 minutes, eg to a wave of all), also saw the brainwaves of girls and boys ... And we AWARD with sweets, conguitos, cookies, soft toys and more to come out to volunteer or other activities.
A fun activity example: there was a day that gave us 30 minutes to fetch objects across the university but asking permission, had to be things that belonged to others. They told us what they had achieved so other universities, not to be outdone, we called atrocities, "the best of everything? we said yes to many. Among the whole group (between 150-200 students) we were separated into groups of 10, went in search of objects and then we made objects to assemble a product and make an advertisement in front of other groups to try to sell the invention . But the importance of this activity are the things that got the different groups: 3 bikes with their huge owner, a rat, 2 lizards, huge, a wheel of a car, a laptop, a recreational machine, a cleaning lady with respective cart, microwave ... the rest were already more normal things such as chairs, benches, plants ...
The first day of class left voluntarily, as you will see I am the only girl there on stage:

few tricks for when we are left blank in an oral presentation :
- Recognize : it's okay to say we are nervous and we are left blank, it can even help us feel a little better because viewers also know what is the feeling of being there, talking and so many people are paying you, you can create an atmosphere of empathy.

Faults we make presentations and how to fix :
- No eye contact our audience. That's: "You look in the blanks", "looking only to a person," "looks at the column" on these typical phrases we all know, ZERO patatera, LIES. We get used to looking at people's eyes and not only one person should be alternated throughout.
- not look at the whole audience . If you are a large group of people we try to be aware of all, we must not be all the time to look back and forth, but we try to go looking at both sides and also to those found in the center .
- Staying at a fixed point without moving . That we should not do, we try to move (without going over) and start to gesticulating as we explain things.
- Talking too fast. We have to go about doing our respective breaks that the information be staying clear.
- Use crutches. Fillers are constantly repeat the words without realizing "emmmmm", "puesssss" "Erm ...". We should not be afraid of silences between sentences! There must be silence and no words, Fillers or elongated.
- Talk too short or vice versa. We try to speak in a tone that we hear well but spend, we must be clear, not to abuse or profanity technicalities, make appropriate breaks.
And we try :
- Taking a step forward when we go to talk (ie in group exhibitions)
- Close the presentation, we should not a "NOW!"
- If you can (not all presentations may be) can be great fun to put a point of intrigue

- not go out with chile in the mouth

Even one day we said we were the next day dressed in a manner different from what we were accustomed. .. in short time suggests that we should be dressed . So I was in pajamas (I changed in the bathroom, and would not go down the street):

a boy and a girl dressed as willy looking for (but did not know of anything) were called and wila willy xD, also had a girl on roller skates, another goth girls to sort out, one with military suit , another waiter ...
And profs were also dressed : Augustine (bottom row, 2nd from right) always wears a suit and he was very casual with baggies, sweater and scarf. José (top row, the 7 th) was dressed in workman gay (stating that he has nothing against) but as they live here do not have too many clothes so he asked the jersey fuchsia to Africa (assistant, row below the 3 rd from right) and just had to get the vest and helmet typical EPI (who borrowed a book without knowing anything xD).

This picture was taken with my phone and was quite far away so you do not see too much, are gifts that were given, had stuffed SpongeBob (who gave them to the morning shift), a huge inflatable chair, suit the boat (small child), a giant lollipops, stuffed tigger, Lacasitos huge pot, oreo crackers, cookies type princes, sweets, bags conguitos, cereal boxes ...
We did many other activities but as you will understand I do not want to extend too much with the post, anyway I will be teaching stuff in other posts (you tomorrow I'll have a curiosity: P) and hope I have not been very heavy ^ ^
